1 The village of Fimber lies 1 mile to the North of the A166, 9 miles from Driffield and 20 miles from York
2 If coming from the North through Malton, the B1248 comes through Norton, North Grimston, Wharram and leads to a roundabout (approx. 8 miles from Malton at which point, a right turn leads to Fimber in one mile
3 Travelling from the South
either join the A64 to York and turn off at the junction with the A166; travel east through Stamford Bridge to Fridaythorpe; turn left just before end of village; 2 miles to Fimber
or from Motorways M1 and /or M18 join the M62 and travel eastward; turn off at the junction 37 and join the A614;pass through Howden and Holme on Spalding Moor; follow the 614 towards Driffield; at a roundabout still about 8 miles short of Driffield and after a half mile of leaving Bainton, straight over the roundabout (B1248) through Tibthorpe and then to Wetwang and join the A166. At this point turn left (towards York),through the Village of Wetwang, take the first turn right (signposted Malton - resuming the B1248); travel one mile to the roundabout and turn left which after one mile brings you to the village of Fimber.
In all cases in the small village of Fimber, Valley Farm Cottage is the White House (pictured above) opposite the pond and the post-box.
