The "Fimber Texel flock" takes its name from the village where it originated and is still centred. Fimber lies on the East Yorkshire Wolds approximately 20 miles form York and 9 miles from Driffield. The village is two miles to the north off the A166. It comprises only twenty dwellings.Valley Farm Cottage is easily located as it overlooks the village pond and is adjacent to the red telephone box.Visitors are always welcomed by appointment. |
